a community of creatives

The Gahanna Area Arts Council is all about community. It exists to foster collaboration between creatives, build connections between civic groups, and bring people together through the Arts. Even if you don’t consider yourself an “artist”, there’s a place for you in our community, and we invite you in with open arms. Welcome.

GAAC VALUE STATEMENT NO. 11

the arts help to connect us to people different from ourselves

The Gahanna Area Arts Council serves to advance the Arts, of course. But its primary purpose is to connect the community. We’re mission-driven; everything we do starts with these core values.

New This Year!

festival

This year we launch our new summer program. The First Friday of each month, we’re sponsoring Arts in the alley across from Creekside. It’s a makers market meets street festival meets block party, and the entire community is invited!

JuST ANNOUNCED!

We’re partnering with The ADAMH Board of Franklin County to install a new mural on Mill Street this fall. But we’re not going to paint it, you are!

Hit us up on social

We try to send out a newsletter every Wednesday. These often feature highlights of upcoming events, stories of inspiration within our community, or recaps of what you may have missed.

Have an idea? Questions? Concerns? Just looking for a way to connect? We’ve got you covered. Email info@gahannaarts.org or use this form right to send a message right to our desk.

Our social media accounts are the best way to stay connected to the Council on a day-to-day basis. Follow just one or all three, it’s up to you. We’re just happy to have you in the fold.

We use Facebook to tell stories, Twitter to have conversations, and Instagram as a digital gallery space to feature some of our community’s best artists.
