Mural on Mill Street

what’s your vision for gahanna?

In partnership with the ADAMH Board of Franklin County, we’re extremely excited to announce our newest initiative. We’re bringing a new mural to Mill Street And best of all, we’ll be giving the entire project over to you. The planning, the painting, all of it!

As part of ADAMH’s efforts to engage in the health and wellness of neighborhoods throughout Franklin County, they’ve developed a unique process for granting public murals. We’ll begin with a conversation about healthy communities, asking you for your vision of Gahanna, what makes us what we are, as well as what we could be. And the location couldn’t be more apt! Dr. Peter Tencza has graciously given us the opportunity to paint his Eye Associates building.

From there, our community’s creative minds will plan the mural with the help of professional artists, and using a giant paint by numbers system, the whole community will paint the mural together.

More details will be released soon, so stay tuned.

help us plan

If you’re a planner, a visionary, or in any way an ideas person, this is your calling. We need you to help us show how we can best represent Gahanna, all that we are, and all that we aim to be.

help us paint

If you’ve ever aspired to be an artist, if you see walls as canvasses, or if you just really want to be a part of something, this is your chance. We need volunteers to help us paint the mural front to back, top to bottom, beginning to end. And because the wall is so big, there’s room for everybody to play a part!

make a donation

We’ve been awarded a grant from ADAMH to help us make this project a reality, but that doesn’t mean your donations are unwelcome. If you’re at all inspired by the work that we’re doing, the impact we’re creating, or the heart of our mission, please consider giving to the cause. Every little bit helps!
